What is Wadaan Development Organization (WDO)?

Wadaan Development Organization is a voluntary, non-profit community welfare association established in 2022 in Village Council Shagai (Ameer, Asukhel, Gajukhel and Shagai villages), Union Council Kahi, Tehsil Jehangira, District Nowshera, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It works to uplift local communities through education, healthcare, grassroots development, social harmony, agriculture and climate initiatives, and overall community empowerment.

Our vision is to build a compassionate, educated, peaceful, and self-reliant community where every individual has the opportunity to live with dignity and thrive.

Our mission is to serve humanity through voluntary initiatives that promote education, health, peace, sustainable livelihoods, and community-driven development.

We are guided by integrity, compassion, inclusivity, transparency, community ownership, and sustainable development.

Wadaan Development Organization is an independent, community-based, voluntary welfare association. It is not a government organisation.

We focus on six main areas: Education, Healthcare, Rural Development, Social Harmony, Agriculture & Climate Development, and Community Uplift.

Because education is the foundation of lasting progress. We aim to reduce illiteracy, open opportunities for youth, and empower the next generation to uplift their families and community.

We conduct free medical camps, vaccination drives, and health awareness sessions, focusing especially on preventive care, maternal health, and child well-being.

We work on improving basic infrastructure like clean water, sanitation, and safe communal spaces to raise living standards and strengthen rural livelihoods.

By organizing awareness sessions, dialogue forums, and conflict resolution initiatives that promote tolerance, peace, and cooperation among community members.

We support farmers through training in sustainable farming, tree plantation campaigns, and water conservation practices to protect livelihoods and the environment.

It means empowering local people—especially youth and women—through volunteerism, skill development, and leadership opportunities to drive their own progress.

Any responsible and motivated individual from the local community who is committed to voluntary social service can become a member.

You can join as a volunteer by contacting us through our official page or visiting our office. We welcome people who want to dedicate their time and skills to serve the community.
